Candidate Driven Scheduled Chat

If you are invited to a Scheduled Chat, congratulations! This means that a Representative participating in an upcoming event has identified you as someone whom they would definitely like to meet.

Scheduled Chats are automatically facilitated one-on-one connections between Representatives and specially invited Attendees — like you! — at preset time slots during the event. Scheduled Chats give you the opportunity to have enhanced connection and control over your event experience:

  • Skip the Line — A Representative is providing you with their availability to schedule a chat. Simply select the time that works for you in just one click.
  • Connect Seamlessly & Safely — No more running around to find a meeting room. No more juggling multiple virtual meeting links. No need to wait in line to chat. Simply log into the event. When it is time for your Scheduled Chat, you will automatically be placed in a one-on-one conversation from the comfort and safety of your own space.

 

What’s New?

While our traditional Scheduled Chats are still available, we have now added Candidate Driven Scheduled Chat as an additional way for candidates to engage in conversations! If enabled for the event Candidate Driven Scheduled Chats will now allows attendees to select a time to schedule a chat or meeting prior to the event's start, securing their spot to speak with a representative without needing an invitation from the representative first.​

Attendees can also schedule a time in these booths during the event, helping them manage their time efficiently. This feature allows representatives' schedules to be automatically populated, streamlining the overall scheduling process.

 

Before the Event

First and foremost, make sure that your profile, registration information, and resume (if applicable to the event) are up-to-date and clearly convey your strengths and objectives. This allows Representatives to discover you and streamlines the conversation process.

The Event Lobby

Upon the completion of registration, if the Lobby is open to view in advance of the event, you will enter a lobby where you will see a variety of booths. While you may enter each booth to review the content, ONLY the booth with the schedule button on the bottom right corner will offer time for you to select from. These booths may have two states:

If the "Schedule" button is enabled, it will offer the ability for you to choose a time to meet in that booth.

If the "Schedule" button is disabled, it means that you already have a pending or confirmed invite for that booth.

Booths that do not have “Schedule” button are listed as an Invite-Only booth. During the live event, you may still enter these booths to get in line to chat, but you cannot schedule a time to chat unless you were personally invited by an assigned representative.

If an event has only one booth for scheduling, you will be placed inside of the booth once you have logged in/completed registration.

From the booth:

  • You can "Schedule" time in the booth if you don't already have a pending invite.
  • Your invite notifications are displayed.
  • You can cancel/reschedule confirmed times.

 

Scheduling a Time to Chat

Clicking "Schedule" from inside a booth, or from the booth title in the event's lobby, will present all the available time slots for that booth.

  • You may choose a time slot based on all the assigned registered representative available time slots.
  • The system will match you up to a representative based on the time slot selected.

Once you have scheduled time with representatives, you will be able to see that detail on your "Schedule" tab in the lobby. From the schedule tab:

  • You can see your confirmed times in ascending order based on time.
  • You can click on each time slot to view the details and take further action.

 

Pending Invites

If you were invited to schedule time in with a rep. When you login, or if you access your "Schedule", you will be given the opportunity to:

  • Choose from that representative's available time slots.
  • Decline the invite.

 

Cancelling & Rescheduling

If you wish to cancel or reschedule a chat, from the "Schedule" tab, you are able to select a scheduled chat to make changes.

  • You will be able to choose another available time if you wish to reschedule.
  • You can choose to cancel your scheduled chat and provide a reason.

*Note: If a you cancel a confirmed chat, you cannot reconnect with that same representative.

 

Good to Know

Search Booths When you are using the booth search feature, you will not be able to get into line for a live chat in a booth you already have a confirmed/pending invite for. 

Invite Notification During an event, if you are sent an invitation during a live event, you will receive a visual notification that will include a link that will take you to the invite.
