Your first steps as a Booth Owner

Welcome to Hiring Events, a platform designed to provide a seamless and modern interface for hosting and participating in events. Whether you manage an in-person or virtual event, this introduction will help you navigate and personalize your booth for an engaging and branded experience.

 

Event Types: In-Person and Virtual

Hiring Events offers flexibility for various event formats: 

1. In-Person Events:

  • Important Note: If you are assigned to a booth for an in-person event, confirm with the event host whether the virtual lobby will be visible to registrants. This determines if booth content needs to be added.
  • Ensure Representatives are assigned to your booth to enable virtual check-ins and facilitate interaction with event participants.
  • Only Representatives attending the event should complete registration.

 

2. Virtual or Hybrid Events with a Virtual Lobby:

  • Booth Owners create a dynamic virtual space for Representatives and Attendees to interact via text, audio, or video chats, group video sessions, and live broadcasts.

 

Getting Started: Setting Up Your Booth

Once designated as a Booth Owner, you will receive an email from Hiring Events with setup instructions.

  • First-Time Users: Use the link in the email to create a password. This will direct you to the 'Your Events' page, where you can view details for all assigned events, including event titles, dates, and booth assignments. Click "Edit Booth" to begin.
  • Returning Users: Use the link in the email to go directly to your booth or log in at app.brazenconnect.com.

 

Booth Configuration: Overview of Tabs

In the Booth Settings tab, you’ll find options for customization:

Settings:

  • Add a descriptive booth title and company name (if applicable).
  • Upload your booth logo (e.g., company logo) and main booth image (recommended dimensions: 500px x 300px). If no image is provided, a default graphic can be selected.
  • Add booth tags and links to social media accounts (if enabled). 

Content:

  • Add a brief description under "Booth Preview Content." This and the title and booth image appear on your booth’s card in the event lobby.
  • Customize the Home tab, including uploading a banner image and overlay text. Use the rich text editor for additional text, links, or HTML content.

Opportunities (optional):

  • Add job opportunities, programs, or positions. Provide a general summary in the content field and link to external application pages. Up to seven opportunities can be added.

Custom Tab (optional):

  • Use this tab for "About Us" content, such as a video or additional text. 

Save your work regularly, as the platform will log you out after 30 minutes of inactivity. 

 

Assigning Representatives

Assign Representatives to staff your booth so they can engage / chat with attendees:

  • Click New or Add Representative to assign team members. Assigned Representatives receive an email with registration and login instructions.
  • Manage Representatives through the action menu, including resending invitation emails or enabling scheduled chats (if applicable).
  • If you are both a Booth Owner and a Representative, add yourself to the booth and complete your profile.
  • Configure display settings to show or hide Representatives’ profile details in the booth.

Additional Features

Drop-Off Notes: Enable this feature to allow attendees to leave messages for Representatives when live chat is unavailable.

SmartQueue (optional): Use qualifying questions to prioritize attendees for chats based on their answers. Representatives can view scores during interactions.

Scheduled Chats:

  • Facilitate one-on-one conversations by pre-scheduling chats between Representatives and selected attendees.
  • Use filters to review registrant profiles and schedule chats on behalf of Representatives.

Reports and Analytics: If enabled, access reports such as Booth Engagement, Event Participants, and Representative Ratings. Download reports via the Downloads tab in your sidebar.
