Personalized Attendee QR Codes

The In-Person Event experience has been enhanced with a personalized QR codes for event attendees. When the Attendee QR code feature is enabled for an event, all registrants will receive a personalized QR code in their registration confirmation email as well as be able to access the QR code from within the Event application before and during the event. Representatives will have an option within the Event application to load their device's camera for scanning attendee QR codes. Scanning a QR code will automatically pull up the attendee's profile within Attendee Lookup. Think of the scanning action as a faster lookup. Customers will no longer need to verbally ask for the attendee's name or email address to perform a manual lookup within Attendee Lookup.  

Please note: It is recommended that Representatives perform the scanning action from within the event application. Representatives must be authenticated into the Event App in order to perform the scanning action and take follow-up actions. If you use the camera on your phone, you may be prompted to log in each time you scan a QR code.

Event Setting

The Enable Attendee QR code setting can be managed within an Event > Settings > Advanced Settings page. 

Rep Experience

Event Reps will see the option to scan a QR code within the event's side menu as well as within Attendee Lookup. Event Reps also receive their own personalized QR code which can be presented in cases where Reps are checked in at the event space. Scanning an attendee's QR code will load the attendee profile within Attendee Lookup similar to a manual search. Reps will then need to decide what next action to take (e.g. Check in the attendee, Connect with the attendee)

 

Candidate Experience

Candidates receive their personalized QR code within the event Registration Confirmation email. They also can access the QR code by logging into the event application and accessing the QR code from their side menu.
