Participate in a Group Video Booth

This article walks you through the different ways you can connect and customize your video chat experience. From joining a conversation to adjusting your video settings, you’ll find everything you need below.

About Group Video Booths

Group Video booths allow multiple event participants to connect within one audio/video session! Group Video booths are gathered in their own convenient tab at the top of the Event Lobby, and are indicated with an icon at the top right of their booth card.

Get in Line to Chat

Get in Line to Chat

To get in line for a Group Video booth chat, click Enter on the booth's Lobby card. Or, select its toggle in your search results. Then, click the green Chat button at the top of the screen.

Group Video booths are limited to twenty-five total participants, including Hosts. When a Group Video session is started by a Host, it is locked by default, and Attendees are only let in once it is unlocked. You are then added to the group chat as space becomes available.

If you need to take a break or step away from the event, you can toggle your Chat Availability in the left sidebar to "Unavailable" and your spot in the Group Video line will be reserved for when you are available again.
