Customize Your Greeting & Away Messages

Your custom welcome message greets a candidate as soon as they enter a QuickChat, and your away message is displayed any time your availability is toggled off, and you are not on vacation mode. 

In Candidate Engagement Hub (CEH), select Settings, then the Chat tab to customize and save these messages.

Manage Your QuickChat Availability

When you are available to chat

If you’re ready to start accepting new chats from job seekers, in CEH, toggle Available to chat on.

If you’ve enabled notifications in your browser, you will receive a desktop notification anytime you’re connected with a candidate. You may also enable a chime to sound when a new connection is made under Settings.

 

When you’re away from your desk

If you’re stepping into a meeting, going home for the day, or otherwise unable to respond to incoming chats, toggle Available to chat off.

Your customizable away message is then sent to any job seeker that is connected in a chat with you. Note that anytime you log out of Radancy, you are automatically marked as away.

Even while you’re away, job seekers can leave you a message if they wish, and an email notification is then sent to you.

If the job seeker provides a phone number, they are prompted with the option to transition their QuickChat to SMS text messaging.

 

When you’re out of the office

If you're going to be out of the office for an extended period, under the Chat tab in Settings, click Enable vacation mode and select a date range to ensure that no job seekers are connected with you while you’re away.
