Webinars Broadcast booths offer the chance to view live webinars and panel-style presentations during an event. The Broadcast Schedule panel in the Event Lobby lists all live video broadcasts scheduled during the event so that you can plan in advance.
You will receive a notification before a live video broadcast begins prompting you to return to the lobby and enter the video broadcast booth. Depending on the booth settings, you may be able to comment in the discussion feed before, during, and/or after the presentation. If the event is still live after the live video broadcast ends, you can return to the Event Lobby to continue exploring chat booths.

How do I know when a live video broadcast starts?
You do not need to be in the video broadcast booth to know the scheduled broadcast time or when the live broadcast starts.
If you're in the Event Lobby before the live video broadcast's start time, the video broadcast booth title displays the scheduled time block in the preview content and an indicator at the top. Before the live video broadcast begins, the indicator displays a countdown. After the live video broadcast begins, the indicator changes to a Live icon. If you do not want to search for the booth to view the time block, check the Broadcast Schedule in the sidebar.
If you're waiting to chat in one or more booths, we highly recommend that you get out of line at each booth to watch the live video broadcast. If you're still waiting in line while watching the live video broadcast, you will be automatically removed from the video broadcast booth when you are connected to chat with a representative. |
Before the live video broadcast begins, a chime sounds, and you will receive a notification that the live video broadcast is starting. At this time, you should get out of line to chat and head back to the lobby.
If you are already in a chat, you will not receive a notification that the live video broadcast has begun. |
Click the Video Broadcast tab to view only the video broadcast booths. Enter the scheduled video broadcast booth to watch the presentation. You will not be on camera or microphone during the live video broadcast, so there's no need to check your camera or microphone settings before entering the booth.
What happens if the live video broadcast reaches maximum capacity?
Video broadcasts have audience capacity limits based on the number of Hosts and Presenters. If the video broadcast reaches maximum capacity before you enter the booth, you can still access the booth and content; however, an error appears in place of the video broadcast.
When a current audience member leaves the booth, their space becomes available to view the video broadcast. Click Refresh Broadcast to check for new availability. You can refresh the video broadcast content every 15 seconds. If space is available, clicking Refresh Broadcast automatically loads the live video broadcast.
How do I interact with the video broadcast booth?
The Event Lobby Sidebar contains up to three tabs. Click the tab to view the content.
- People — The people within the presentation. The default setup displays the presenters and identifies the host. Depending on the booth's settings, you may also see the audience information.
- Discussion (if enabled) — The discussion feed. Your event may allow you to participate in a discussion feed within the video broadcast booth. Depending on the booth's settings, the discussion feed may be visible before, during, and/or after the live video broadcast.
- Content — Any relevant content about the booth. This could include information about the agenda, presentation, or presenters.
While the broadcast presenters control the video streams, you can interact with some video features.
Use the Full Screen icon to switch in and out of full-screen mode. You will no longer see the Event Lobby Sidebar in full-screen mode.
If there is more than one presenter, you can use the kebab ( ) menu to Focus on a particular stream. This makes that stream larger than the others, allowing you to focus your attention on it. Use the kebab ( ) menu to Unfocus and view the default stream display.
How do I participate in the discussion?
If your video broadcast booth includes the Discussion tab, you can post comments and ask questions. It is up to the presenters whether to respond to the comments as they go or at the end of the presentation.
Click the Discussion tab to view the discussion feed. Enter your question or comment in the field, then click Post. Each comment is limited to 1000 characters. If necessary, click Delete to remove your comment. After deleting a comment, it disappears immediately and is no longer visible to any participants.
What do I do when the live video broadcast ends?
When the live video broadcast ends, the booth automatically refreshes and displays the booth information. The Broadcast Status changes to Ended. Depending on the event settings, you may still be able to interact with the discussion feed. If the event is still live, click the arrow to return to the Event Lobby to continue exploring booths and chatting.
