Your security is important to us. You are required to verify the email address associated with your Radancy account to participate in an online event on the Radancy platform. Verifying your email address lets us know that you truly own your email address and allows us to better assist you if you need any support. It also helps us to protect the data you share on Radancy's platform.
This article will address the following:
- What's email verification?
- What happens when someone signs up for an event?
- Step-By-Step Process
- Troubleshooting Tips
What's email verification?
Email Verification is our process for confirming that Radancy users actually control the email addresses they provide to us. This prevents someone from signing up for a Radancy account with an email they don't have access to.
Verification is a one-time process; once your email address is verified, you will not need to verify again unless you choose to change or update your email address.
A new user signing up for a Radancy account will be sent a link via email to verify their email address. Simply click "Verify Your Email" button in the automated email. You should be all set!
What happens when someone registers for an event?
New users who sign up for an event with an email address are considered "unverified."
Upon providing their email, an email containing a verification link is immediately sent to the email address provided. Keep in mind, the user is able to register for the event they just signed up for (and any other events) until they log out of the Radancy platform.
Once logged out, the user will be prompted to verify at next login and can not register for additional events until they have done so. Unverified users can never enter the lobby of an event—they will always be prompted to verify before attending.
Any users who sign up through Single Sign-On (including LinkedIn) are automatically considered verified.

Troubleshooting Tips
1. You may be trying to verify an email address that you are not currently logged in with.
If you find yourself at the screen above, it is likely that you are currently logged in to Radancy with the incorrect email. For example: you created User A, logged out, created User B, and then clicked on a verification link for User A while logged in as User B.
In order to resolve this, simply follow a verification link for User B (search your inbox associated with User B for a verification email sent from Radancy) or log out of Radancy entirely and log back in with User A.
2. You are Unable to Click "Verify Your Email"
If you are unable to click on the orange "Verify Your Email" button included in the verification email, simply copy the full verification URL and paste it into your browser.
3. Still unable to verify?
If the troubleshooting steps above do not solve your verification issue, please submit a support request here so that the Radancy team can assist you with the process.
