If you are using a third-party marketing tool, such as Facebook, Google Tag Manager, or DoubleClick, you can add Tracking Pixels to the Hiring Event registration process to track user behavior and conversion data. The information gathered by tracking pixels helps you determine the effectiveness of your advertising campaigns.

From the Hiring Events Admin, Radancy Administrators can enter pre-created tracking pixels to be placed in your Hiring Event after registration is completed.

exclamation-circle-45px.png Radancy does not create tracking pixel code snippets, capture tracking pixel data, or display their data in the Hiring Events Admin. The tracking pixel is only hosted within the Radancy registration process. You must create the code snippet and manage the software and database for storing the user data.

What Is a Tracking Pixel?

A traditional tracking pixel is an invisible 1x1 pixel graphic included on a web page or email. Now, the term has expanded to include a variety of image-download and Javascript techniques which gather information about user behavior.

The tracking pixel includes a code snippet that contains an external link to the pixel's server. When a user visits the website or opens the email, the browser processes the code and sends identifying information to the server for your review.

Add a Tracking Pixel

  1. From your Event Home, click Settings, then click Tracking Pixels.

  2. Paste your tracking pixel HTML code snippet in the field. You can enter multiple tracking pixels to track the success of different targeted campaigns.
  3. Save your changes!
  4. Don't forget to place the specified conversion point URL in your tracking pixel software. This ensures it knows where the tracking pixel is located and works properly.

By default, tracking pixels are embedded in Radancy after the registration form is completed. The tracking pixel will be placed invisibly on the confirmation page.

To verify your tracking pixels are firing in the proper place, talk to your Radancy Account Manager or Customer Success Manager.

Capture Metrics

Radancy automatically places your tracking pixel invisibly on the page. When the user reaches the specified conversion point, it triggers the metrics to be sent to your tracking software. Radancy does not capture, store, or display the metrics. You must manage your own tracking software and interpret the data it provides.

Additional Resources

For further data gathering, consider adding tracking links. You can also use Radancy's integration with Google Analytics. This is an excellent way to include Radancy engagement in a broader analysis on your organization's marketing campaigns.
