Register for Your Event

The event link you found or were provided leads to the event's landing page. From here, click REGISTER or REGISTER NOW.

Enter your First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and, if requested, a Password to create your account, or you can register and log in using Single Sign-On (LinkedIn, Facebook, or Google).

After that, you'll get an email asking you to click a link to confirm your account. Please complete this verification as soon as possible.

Some events may have Passwordless Login enabled. Enter your First Name, Last Name, and Email Address. You are not required to provide a password in this case and will instead need to follow the magic link sent to the email address provided to access your event registration.

Complete Your Registration Form

Next, complete the event Registration Form. Every event has a unique form, so you must submit new registration information for each event you attend.

The information you provide is saved to your personal profile to help event organizers prepare, and it is also shared with event representatives to save everyone valuable time during the event.

Enter the email address you used to register and, if prompted, your password. If you registered with Single Sign-On (SSO), you can log in by clicking your SSO method.

If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot password? and follow the instructions to reset it.

After logging in, click LOG IN to access the Event Lobby.

Explore the Event Lobby

You can review or engage with event content, get in line to chat in or explore Booths, and see an event schedule in your virtual Event Lobby.

Booths contain valuable information and multimedia content and allow you to participate in different ways, such as chatting or watching live video broadcasts.

Virtual events can contain any combination of a variety of booth types.

ContentOnlyIcon.jpg Content Only — A booth that hosts multimedia content for you to explore, such as text, images, or videos.
TextChatIcon.jpg Text Chat — A booth where you can get in line to connect in one-on-one video and audio chats.
VideoAudioChatIcon.jpg Text, Video, and Audio Chat — A booth where you can get in line to connect in one-on-one text, video, and audio chats with event representatives or fellow attendees.
GroupVideoIcon.jpg Group Video — A booth where you can connect with a group of up to 9 people at once in a video and audio chat.
VideoBroadcastIcon.jpg Live Video Broadcast — A scheduled, live video broadcast where presenters can host webinars and panel-style conversations.
TextChatIcon.jpgVideoAudioChatIcon.jpg Open Networking — A booth where any type of participant can connect and chat with each other, such as representatives and candidates, in a text chat, or in a text, video, and audio chat.

Some booths list assigned representatives that you can connect with at your event.

Chat In Virtual Booths

Use Search Booths linked in your event sidebar to identify and enter booths you are interested in. Click one or more of the toggles to explore booths or get in line to chat in them.

If you click ENTER on a chat booth's Lobby card instead, click the green CHAT button at the top of the booth to get in line to chat with the next available representative or to enter a Group Video or Networking chat.

Once connected in a chat, you can interact, ask questions, or share more information about yourself and your experience. A representative may invite you to a one-on-one video or audio chat if a booth allows.

After your chat ends, you can write a message directly to the representative you chatted with, rate your chat, and add private notes about the chat to review later.

Then, click Finish to return to the Lobby.

Attend a Live Video Broadcast in a Virtual Event

If included in your event, you can view live webinars or panel-style presentations in a Live Video Broadcast booth.

The Broadcast Schedule panel on the sidebar of your Event Lobby lists all live video broadcasts scheduled during the event so that you can plan in advance.

You'll see a pop-up notification before a live video broadcast begins so you can return to the Lobby and then enter the Live Video Broadcast booth.

Depending on that booth's settings, you can comment in a Discussion Feed before, during, and/or after the broadcast.

See this article for even more information about attending live video broadcasts.

Leave a Drop-Off Note

Some online booths you visit may let you leave a Drop-Off Note to express interest or ask questions before, during, or after an event.

Organizations can customize this prompt, which you'll find underneath the Content tab. It may not always say Leave a Note - it could say "Have questions? Let us know!", "Drop us a line!" or similar.

Click the prompt to open the pop-up window and send a message. Your message and profile information is then sent to booth representatives, who may contact you directly.
